(BA Hons) English, Bath Spa University
I graduated from university, spent some time travelling and was now ready to enter into the world of work. After two interviews I was ready to go as a Campus Promotions Assistant. In this position I went to universities across the country managing my own teams and talking to loads of students encouraging them to use the site. This was an exciting challenge and gave me lots of opportunities to travel and meet new people. I got lots of experience working in a creative team where we were encouraged to have lots of input into our jobs and manage ourselves. As this was my first “proper” job this also gave me excellent insight into events work and office based admin that I previously didn’t have.
After three months at the company I really wanted to stay and was offered a role within the Marketing team as a Marketing Projects Assistant. In this role I am heavily involved with all areas of the team contributing to content on the site, project management, looking at new ways of marketing our product, organising and attending events. Our team is small (myself, Chloe and Mike) so we rely on each other a lot to get our jobs done, so it’s good that we all get on really well.
It is fun working within a small company and everybody is very friendly; working and playing together. Often after work we will go for drinks and there’s a table football table in the office that drums up lots of excitement and noise at lunch.
